Can you put turbochargers on the 12v V6? Yes, but it involves a lot of money and custom work. Aside from the expected changes (lowering the engine's
compression, upgrading the head gaskets, plumbing, etc.), there are a few other issues. As with the supercharger, the
stock ECU doesn't handle turbocharging very well. In the few twin-turbo 12v cars that I'm aware of, the modifiers had
to use multiple 'piggyback' ECUs to handle a lot of the turbo-related signals.
