Red Hot RS2 Manifold
These pictures were taken within seconds of each other from the same
perspective. The one on the left was taken with a flash the other
obviously without. You can even see manifold glowing in the picture
on the left. These photos were taken after a late evening high
boost(24 psi) run up Teton Pass(10% grades about 7.5 miles).
Sustained 24 psi up 10% grades 100 mph+ between switch backs going
from 6000ft to 8600ft. I'm sure alot of you guys with track time
have seen your turbos glow even brighter than this. The downpipe
was glowing all the way to the bottom of the car, it is amazing to
see, you think something ought to melt. I hope everyone out there
is using Synthetic oil.
