After spending some more time this morning looking at the car and evaluating the situation, I now think the best solution may be to cut the mounting flanges off each manifold, rotate them through 180 degrees, weld them back onto the tubes and then swap them side-to-side.

This will keep the outlets at the front of the car but cause them to be pointed upward instead of downward, which in turn will allow them to easily clear the PS pump and alternator. Better yet, the turbos will end up located directly behind the inner headlights on the U.S.-spec quad light setup, which will make it easy to duct air to them and leave more room down low in the engine compartment for the intercoolers.
