Today, after installing the power steering pump and alternator, I realized my "eyeball estimate" of how much space they'd take up was a little bit optimistic. That's not to say the factory manifolds can't be made to fit with a little bit of work -- clearancing a bracket here and bending a tube there (not to mention the possibility of adding spacers between the manifold mounting flanges and cylinder head) should be enough to do it -- only that it was maybe a bit premature for me to suggest that this would be an easy project. As always, the devil's in the details...
