Switchover secondary runners

Yes I'm still sick but my fever broke about 4am and seems to be over. Still all other associated symptoms but long as I'm fever-free this beats lying down, watching tv. I'll bring the die-grinder inside, make a little task area at the kitchen table (my shipping dept) and work in my bathrobe (nice visual huh). Yeah, it's a bachelor thing.

This pic is of the area just behind the switchover butterflies. It's restrictive, chock full of sharp corners and some of the roughest sand casting found anywhere in the intake manifold.

I'm going to work very slowy today, taking it easy on myself but shaping this area into a more efficient and far better-breathing intake area with all radiused transitions. I have no plans of doing more than one of these today but I want one out of the way so I have an idea of time involved as well as a pattern to follow on the remaining 5.

You guys won't even be doing this aspect. Neither would I if I had realized the damn butterfly shaft screws were welded on from underneath. But since mines out... "if I'm gonna be a dog, why be a chihuahua!?!"
